Choosing a Health Provider

There are many factors to consider when choosing a health care provider, but verifying the license of a provider can rule out professionals who do not have proper credentials to practice. Bear in mind, however, that licensure is not a guarantee that the provider is qualified to address your individual needs. The following link provides tips on how to choose a health care provider.

Choosing a Doctor or Health Care Service

Please note that not all behavioral health provider types are required to hold a license. While CSSP conducts periodic reviews of provider information and licenses included in the directory, the information presented is subject to change. Always contact the provider's office to verify their practice information.
